5 If anyone keeps God’s word, the love of God is truly made complete in him. This is how we know that we are in him: 6 The one who says he remains in him should walk as Jesus[a] walked.

7 Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one that you have had since the beginning. The old command is the message you heard.
